Electrical Engineering Department<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

About the Department:<\/span><\/h3>\n

The Department of Electrical Engineering was established in the academic year (2017-2018) at the College of Engineering, Al-Iraqia University. It awards a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering after four years of study, following a semester system in its curriculum, which covers general specializations in various fields of electrical engineering, including: power and electrical machines, electronics and communications, and computers and control. The department also offers a Master of Science degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering. The department is able to supply the public and private sectors with qualified engineers in scientific, practical, and research engineering applications in the field of specialization.<\/span><\/h3>\n

Developing competent and highly qualified engineers who are able to meet the needs of the labor market in the public and private sectors in the field of electrical engineering, by updating the curricula according to the rapid developments of modern technology and dynamic requirements changes of the market. Also, providing students of the department with the latest knowledge and advanced theoretical and practical skills, and encouraging students to be creative and innovative. In addition to the department\u2019s endeavor to develop new study programs for postgraduate studies to keep pace with the advanced and recent developments in the specialization.<\/span><\/h3>\n
