      The position of Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs is currently held by Dr. Omar Hassan Hamid, a lecturer. This position represents the academic and scientific aspect of the College of Engineering, as it includes several divisions and units that are in contact with student affairs in postgraduate and undergraduate studies, in addition to following up on scientific research presented by faculty members and everything related to conferences, seminars and workshops in the college. The organizational structure of the position of Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs consists of the following divisions and units:<\/strong><\/p>

        The duties and responsibilities of the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs include:<\/strong><\/p>

        1. Issuing endorsements and documents for graduates<\/li>
        2. Supervising the admission process for new students and reviewing transfer and hosting cases to and from the college.<\/li>
        3. Organizing weekly class schedules, supervising weekly lecture records, organizing exam schedules, and monitoring student attendance.<\/li>
        4. Ensuring strict adherence to the official instructions and rules adopted in the field of scientific promotions and patents.<\/li>
        5. Ensuring the accurate application of the rules and instructions for authorship, translation, and research within the overall scientific process.<\/li>
        6. Preparing periodic reports on scientific activities and submitting them to the university president.<\/li>
