Computer Engineering Department

Overview :
The Computer Engineering Department is one of the departments within the College of Engineering at the Iraqi University. The department admitted its first students for the first time this year. The 2012/2013 academic year adopted a semester system in its curriculum, which covered programming, computer manufacturing, and their applications to keep pace with the rapid developments in information technology and its related fields, which have become a prominent feature of the economies of both developed and developing countries. Computer programming and architecture are considered modern and advanced sciences that contribute directly and significantly to Technology has evolved into multiple applications, and one of the most widely used applications in our time is the international wide network for information and information sharing technologies. The department accepts the best students to form a base for high-level scientific institutions that foster creativity and innovation.
The lectures are given by a group of highly qualified instructors holding distinguished academic titles that are in line with the rapid pace of development. Which the country and the world are witnessing. The duration of study in the department is four academic years after preparatory/scientific studies. Graduates of the department are awarded Computer Engineering: After completing the initial studies, a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering is awarded. The Computer Engineering Department aspires to develop high-quality engineering education to meet the needs of society and become a leading department in the engineering field. Recent developments have witnessed Significant developments have included updating and implementing course content, as well as opening new laboratories and upgrading the equipment in all existing labs. Due to the department's excellent reputation and rapid advancements in its field, student enrollment is steadily increasing at the college, in both morning and evening programs.

Graduate Studies :

The College of Engineering at the Iraqi University currently offers a Master's program in Computer Engineering. Applications are submitted through the electronic portal of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, followed by a competitive examination consisting of 10 study subjects for qualified candidates.
